The occasion to this film was the offer to produce a documentary on the topic of The worker at the end of the 20th century - for television and within the framework of the film school, where I studied for two years. Since I didn't see the possibility to make a responsible film on the TV conditions, I rejected the offer. I produced a short film instead, which approaches the question of the cinematic representation of workers as basically and personally as it was possible for me.
